GAUCHO

When a jaded, middle-aged, middle-manager, decides to make some changes in her life, she comes to the conclusion, it requires her to fly to the other side of the planet.

From the wide-open spaces of Australia, where “the wine is fabulous, but the men are not”, she finds herself embedded in the heart of Upper East Side, Manhattan, with an urbane but very complicated Argentinean.

The Opera, a seduction to the Tango and tragedy at home, soon leads her deeper into his world of deception and dark politics. Out of her comfort zone on a yacht in the Atlantic Ocean, she faces a test of character and strength which helps her decide whether she should return to Australia, the “Lucky Country”, or continue on into an unknown uncertain future.

The truth is, I was as happy as a man could be. I was paired up with a girl that could follow like she could read my mind; the Tango was having its way with us, whirling us this way and then that and losing us and calling us back again and finding us.........
